Our in-house shop crafts custom cabinetry, built-ins, and mantels to match your style and needs. At Oxbow Builders, we see clients as family, bringing unique stories to life through thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship.

Our Team

We are Jake and Katie Oyler, the owners of Oxbow Builders. 

Jake grew up in Alaska. He moved to Montana in 2004 and started working in the construction industry. Besides building, Jake’s passion is rock climbing. Katie grew up in the Flathead Valley. For many years, she was involved in different capacities in her father’s construction company, Jeff Moser Construction. This is where she developed a love for design.

At Oxbow Builders, Katie works on the front end of the project, doing the design work and organization before the start of construction. Once construction is underway, Jake manages the project from start to finish. 

In addition to building beautiful homes together, they raise their two children, Addison and Remington, on a farm in Lower Valley. Their black lab, Boone, is always along for the ride.

Family Legacy

Oxbow Builders would not exist without the legacy and mentorship of Jeff Moser Construction. The successful and reputable Flathead Valley construction company was established in 2008 by Katie’s parents, Jeff and Arlys. 

We created Oxbow Builders in 2022 to continue our parents’ legacy of quality craftsmanship and integrity. We are blessed to take over our parents’ “well-oiled machine” and continue the working relationships with subcontractors around the valley who know the Jeff Moser name and choose to work with a family that produces beautiful, high-quality homes and an excellent customer experience.

We are proud to have more than 50 combined years of experience among three generations: Katie’s grandpa’s carpentry, Jeff’s building experience, and now Jake and Katie working in the construction industry. It is truly our family building for your family at Oxbow Builders.
